Screening, therapy & coaching for adult ADHD

Lacey Redding, LMHCA & ADHD counselor in washington

You have worked so hard to build a successful adult life, but only you know the real cost. It’s exhausting. And somehow you still feel like a kid who’s always about to be in trouble!

As a parent, you and your family might be struggling just to get through the day and you don’t see an end in sight. Remember the fun you imagined having together?

You wish you could just find somewhere to relax, unmask, and GET some answers…

Lacey ReddinG, Therapist & Adhd Specialist

I help students, professionals and parents just like you:

those who have it in them to be grounded, confident, and equipped for all of life’s challenges, but just need the support to get there.

I help my clients find…

self-acceptance

freedom from anxiety

clarity about what comes next

by equipping them with the tools they need to navigate every area of life in an ADHD-embracing way.

Trying solutions that aren’t right for you leads to burnout and overwhelm.

Your circumstances are unique, so we’ll keep your goals and needs at the forefront as we craft solutions that will actually stick.

First, we’ll assess your immediate struggles, the ones that are draining your energy and causing strain, conflict, or harm.

Then, we can look a little deeper, to find out what life circumstances, family dynamics, or childhood experiences are pressure on your ADHD symptoms and contributing to the anxiety you just can’t shake.

Through our work together, you’ll have a much clearer sense of what it means to have ADHD, what you truly need and want, and greater self-confidence that will help you feel totally ready for whatever’s next.

How is this different from other coaching or therapy?

  • You don’t need an executive function coach AND a therapist AND a parent coach. This is single, simple solution that can help you address both symptoms and root causes.

And if you’re a parent looking to help your child, you might discover that you also have ADHD, and I’m here for you! When you’re ready, we can transition seamlessly to focusing on how we can help support YOU.

  • Sessions with me are warm and conversational. I’m a relational therapist, which means I believe that therapy is most effective when you feel safe, accepted, and comfortable.

We will focus on your short- and long-term goals, but I’m not structured or rigid. We will meander when needed, take a moment to breathe and laugh, and dive deep when the time is right.

  • Here, you’ll enjoy support and care from someone who’s walked the road you’re on. I’ve faced challenges with ADHD, parenting, chronic fatigue, religious and family trauma, homeschooling, starting my own business, going back to school, re-entering the workforce…I’ve been there.

You’ll be relieved to find that you don’t have to pretend you’re okay if you’re not, justify your big feelings or minimize your experiences; you can jump straight into what’s really bothering you with someone who truly understands.

I am dedicated to helping people thrive with adhd.

My training in therapy and ADHD coaching means I have the expertise you need and deserve when you’re grappling with an ADHD diagnosis and all that comes with it.

But at the end of the day, you want to know you’re working with someone who really understands what it means to be to find out that ADHD has been affecting you all along.

I get it because I’ve been there, both as an adult discovering that I have ADHD, and as a parent of kids with ADHD.

I’ve walked this road.

I know sometimes it can be so painful and frustrating to navigate a neurotypical world that wasn’t built with ADHD in mind, and that sometimes it seems like you might keep struggling forever.

So when we work together, you won’t just get a trained therapist. You’ll get someone who truly understands what you’re going through.
